At the processing stage, a processing record must be maintained. Processing code and production code mean the same thing and may be used interchangeably. The processing record must include the following information:

Date of processing | Date the processing was initiated. Should default to today but editable. If they fail to select a value show the message "Please select a date" |
Fresh fruit quantity | Must be numeric and in kilograms. |
Cut fruit quantity | Must be numeric and in kilograms. |
Type of cut | Must be selected from a dropdown. Varies based on commodity. See product naming |
Description | Optional description of the product. Must be a freeform text. |
These are product batches that had to be carried over to the following day or the following shift because they could not be finished during a shift. Work-In-Progress products shall be marked with information that should include the following:
