Product Naming

AgroPal's production goes through the following steps

  • Intake
  • Processing
  • Drying
  • Removing
  • Boxing and Packing
  • Palletization
  • Export

At each stage of the process, the product needs to be indentified using prefixes and/or suffixes. The prefixes/suffixes easily help identify the state of the product.

Intake

The product needs to be prefixed with Raw. Eg. Raw Pineapple

Processing

The product needs to be prefixed with Fresh Cut and sometimes suffixed with the shape of the cut. Examples:

  • Fresh Cut Mango Slices
  • Fresh Cut Pineapple Tidbits
  • Fresh Cut Pineapple Rings

The commodity will need to specify the type of cut when defining a processing record.

Drying

The product needs to be prefixed with Semi-Finished Dried and suffixed with the type of Cut from processing. Examples:

  • Semi-finished Dried Mango Slices
  • Semi-finished Dried Pinepple Tidbits
  • Semi-finished Dried Pinepple Rings

Rmoving

The product needs to be prefixed with Finished Dried and suffixed with the type of Cut from processing. Examples:

  • finished Dried Mango Slices
  • finished Dried Pinepple Tidbits
  • finished Dried Pinepple Rings

Boxing and Packing

The name of the product is selected from a dropdown of LOVs.
